Aim
We aim to provide a leading opportunity to researchers, academicians, and professionals from different background areas to exchange the latest research ideas and research and development on data science, emerging technologies on machine learning. There are huge amounts of data generated and it contains various types of data. This huge data has evolved as a most challenging field of study and research area. It has drawn much attention during the last few years and influences our modern society, business, government, health-care and research in almost every discipline. Existing approaches to data analysis mainly rely on traditional data mining techniques in which machine learning is explicitly expressed. This special session is integrating IOT, machine learning methods and data science to make smart devices and applications.

Session Chairperson Details

Dr.Rajkumar Rajasekaran graduated in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Madras University in 2000 and received Master’s degree in Computer Science & Engineering from VIT University, Vellore. He has completed his Ph.D. from Vellore Institute of Technology University, Vellore in Computer Science and Engineering. Her research area includes Data Analytics, Data Mining, Big Data, Machine learning and Data Visualization. He has been teaching from last 17 years with emphasis on Data Science. He is a Life time member of Computer Society of India and American Association for Advancement Science (AAAS). He has published and communicated more than 50 research papers in SCI, SCIE, and Scopus indexed Journals and Conducted many workshops, Faculty Development Programmes and Seminars at various universities and Colleges.


Dr. Govinda. K is an Associate Professor in School of Computing Science and Engineering at VIT University, Vellore, India. His research areas are Databases, Data Mining, Cloud Computing, Smart Grid and Internet of Things (IOT). He has published 100+ papers in international journals and conferences. He has membership in the professional bodies like CSI, IEEE, IRED, IAENG. He has served as program chair, general chair and program committee member on a number of ACM, IEEE and CSI national and international conferences and workshops and received Research Award for three years from VIT University.


Somula Ramasubbareddy PhD in Computer Science and Engineering (CSE), from VIT University, Vellore, India. He did his M.tech from JNTUA, Anantapur, India in 2015. His research areas are Mobile Cloud Computing, Network security, Distributed Computing, Computer Communications (Networks) and Algorithms, IOT.
